Services Offered

GarageDoorsMen provides professional garage door repair, installation, maintenance, and related services including:

  • Garage door spring repair and replacement
  • Garage door opener repair and installation
  • Cable, roller, and track repair
  • New garage door installation
  • Maintenance and tune-up services

All services are subject to availability and our service area coverage in the Grand Rapids, Michigan region and surrounding communities.

Service Agreements & Quotes

Quotes and Estimates: All service quotes are estimates based on the information provided and are subject to change upon inspection. Final pricing will be provided on-site before work begins.

Service Authorization: You must be the property owner or have authorization from the property owner to request services. By scheduling service, you represent that you have the authority to authorize work on the property.

Approval Required: No work will begin without your explicit approval of the quoted price and scope of work. You have the right to decline service at any time before work begins.

Service Area: Services are provided within our defined service area in the Greater Grand Rapids region. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.

Payment Terms

  • Payment Due: Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted Methods: We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards. Financing options may be available for qualifying customers.
  • Trip Fees: Standard trip fees may apply but are typically waived when repairs are completed.
  • Late Payment: Accounts not paid within 30 days may be subject to finance charges and collection costs.
  • Deposits: For large installations (new doors, complete systems), a deposit may be required to order materials. Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered.

Warranties & Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty: We stand behind our work with a 90-day warranty on labor for all repairs and installations. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship only.

Parts Warranty: Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product and manufacturer. We will provide warranty information for all parts at the time of service.

Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Damage from acts of nature, accidents, or external forces
  • Work performed by unauthorized third parties after our service
  • Normal wear and tear or lack of proper maintenance

Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, contact us immediately. Warranty service requires proof of service and may require inspection to determine coverage.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation Policy: We understand that schedules change. We request at least 2 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling to avoid potential service fees.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice or no-show appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Weather Delays: In cases of severe weather or unsafe working conditions, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments for the safety of our technicians and customers.

Liability & Insurance

Our Coverage: GarageDoorsMen is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all technicians.

Property Damage: While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and safe for our technicians. Please notify us of any hazards, pets, or special conditions before service.

Safety & Compliance

Safety First: All work is performed in accordance with industry safety standards and local building codes. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe.

Code Compliance: We strive to ensure all installations meet current building codes. However, bringing older systems up to current code may require additional work at additional cost.

Customer Safety: After service, we will provide safety instructions and demonstrations. It is your responsibility to follow all safety guidelines and maintain your garage door system properly.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of GarageDoorsMen or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
